Ingredients

  • 500gms lean mince
  • 1/2 cup raw rice
  • 1 finely diced onion
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 table spoons red wine
  • 1 teaspoons worstershire sauce
  • 1 table spoon mixed herbs
  • 1 tin of Rozella tomato soup
  • 1 soup tin of water

Method

  1. Combine all but soup and water and make into meatballs.
  2. Lay them in a large saucepan, trying not to let them touch eachother. Mix the tomato soup and water and pour over them.
  3. Simmer covered for 40min, occaisonally nudging the meatballs so that they don't stick.
  4. After 40min, simmer uncovered to reduce, if necessary.
